Devereux Chambers specialises in the provision of expert litigation services for insurance, reinsurance, employment and personal injury cases.

Established for over forty years, our barristers chambers attracts clients from public companies, underwriters, brokers, local authorities, government departments, trade unions and private individuals.

A number of senior members of Chambers serve as Deputy High Court Judges and Recorders. Members of Chambers sit on the Criminal Injuries Compensation Appeals Panel, Mental Health Independent Review Tribunal, the Boundary Commission and Sports Disputes Resolution Panel. They also sit as Arbitrators and chair Tribunals and Inquiries.

Members of Chambers hold or have held various appointments from the Attorney-General including Junior Counsel to the Inland Revenue, Common Law, and Junior Counsel to the Crown.

We regularly appear in leading cases and have written or co-written prominent text and practitioners' books in our specialist fields. We also write for legal publications and give lectures and seminars both externally and (with full Law Society accreditation) as part of Chambers' own continuing education programme.

We are recognised by Legal 500 as a 'leading commercial set' and as a leader in the field in each of our principal practice areas both by Legal 500 and by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession.
